Radiant systems touch the rest of the mechanical room. A hydronic install usually needs a boiler and a manifold, which is the same skill set as our water heater work, and a boiler feed frequently means new gas line capacity. If the goal is a warm workshop rather than a warm floor, a garage heater is often the cheaper honest answer and we will say so.
