Licensed Gas Line Services You Can Trust

Gas line work is not something to take chances with. Improper installation can lead to leaks, carbon monoxide exposure, and fire hazards. PeakFlow provides fully licensed gas fitting services for Calgary homes and businesses.

Whether you're adding a gas line for a new BBQ, connecting a fireplace, or running gas to a garage heater, we handle the entire process, from permit to final inspection.

What We Offer

  • BBQ and outdoor kitchen gas lines
  • Fireplace gas line installation
  • Gas stove and range hookups
  • Garage heater gas connections
  • Gas dryer hookups
  • Gas line repair and leak detection
  • Gas meter upgrades
  • Commercial gas fitting

Expert, reasonably priced, and done right: that's the standard for every gas line job.

Gas work is usually part of something larger. A new line is most often run to feed a garage heater, a boiler for underfloor heating, or a replacement water heater that the existing line cannot support. Sizing the line for everything it will eventually feed, rather than only for today's appliance, is the difference between one permit and three.

Why Calgary Property Owners Call PeakFlow

Gas fitting is the one part of this trade where a shortcut can hurt somebody. Ronan and Khalil pull the permit, size and route the line properly, pressure-test it, and book the inspection. The review from Ayman Maghraby further down this page is about one of those jobs, the BBQ line they ran for him.

Gas Line for a BBQ, Fireplace and Future Garage Heater

A new gas line run through the basement for a BBQ and a fireplace, with a line for a future garage heater run up from the basement into the garage. Photographed with the ceiling still open, ready for testing.

The best time to look at a gas line is before anything gets closed back up. This one was photographed with the ceiling still open and the line ready for testing, which is the point where every connection can still be checked by eye. Bringing the garage line in now, before a heater has even been picked, means the ceiling only has to come open once. Garage heater installs, including the gas side, are on our garage heater installation page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Gas line work in Alberta requires a permit and an inspection. We handle both as part of the job, and the price we quote includes them rather than adding them later.
Yes, and it is one of our more common requests. A dedicated BBQ line removes the propane tank routine entirely. We route it to keep the run tidy and protected, and it is inspected like any other gas work.
Do not use switches, phones or anything that could spark inside the building. Leave the building, then from outside call ATCO Gas at 403-245-7222, the Calgary and area emergency line, or 1-800-511-3447 from elsewhere in Alberta. Both are staffed 24 hours. Once the immediate hazard is handled, call us at (825) 773-1297 for the repair.
Yes. Ranges, dryers, fireplaces, garage heaters and outdoor appliances are all standard work. The main variable is whether your existing gas capacity supports the additional appliance, which we check before quoting.
Yes. We handle commercial gas fitting including tenant fit-outs and equipment connections, with the same permit and inspection process.
We serve Calgary and the surrounding communities of Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere and Okotoks. If you are just outside those boundaries, call us and we will tell you honestly whether we can get to you.

We are open Monday to Friday from 7AM to 5PM and Saturday from 8AM to 4PM. We are closed Sunday. Leave a message outside those hours and we will get back to you on the next business day.
Yes. We provide free quotes on most plumbing and heating projects. Call (825) 773-1297 or send us the details through the form on this page and we will give you an upfront price before any work starts.
