Expert Bathroom Plumbing You Can Trust

A shower or bathtub installation is one of those jobs where precision matters. Poor plumbing behind the walls leads to leaks, mold, and expensive repairs down the road. PeakFlow does it right the first time.

Whether you're renovating an existing bathroom or plumbing a brand-new build, we handle everything from rough-in to finish, ensuring proper drainage, water supply, and code compliance.

What We Offer

  • Custom shower installations
  • Bathtub installation and replacement
  • Walk-in shower conversions
  • Shower valve and fixture installation
  • Bathroom renovation plumbing
  • Drain and supply line rough-in
  • Accessibility upgrades
  • Multi-head and rain shower systems

Ronan and Khalil coordinate with your contractor or work directly with you to ensure your bathroom vision becomes reality.

Bathroom work rarely stops at the fixture. A new shower on an older supply line often prompts a look at overall residential plumbing condition, a second bathroom can change hot water demand enough to need a water heater conversation, and a slow tub drain is worth clearing properly during drain cleaning while the walls are open rather than after the tile goes on.

Commercial Shower Rough-In

Hot and cold lines run to new boys and girls shower rooms in a Calgary facility, with two showers and one ADA shower in each bathroom.

Commercial shower valve rough-in on solid backing with a pressure test gauge, installed by PeakFlow Plumbing Calgary
Valve Rough-In
Shower valve mounted on solid backing and pressure tested before the wall closes
Commercial shower stalls framed with floor drains and waterproofing base by PeakFlow Plumbing Calgary
Stall Layout
Two showers and one ADA shower framed out in each bathroom
Copper hot and cold shower risers blocked into steel stud framing by PeakFlow Plumbing Calgary
Supply Risers
Hot and cold risers dropped and blocked at every valve location

Every valve sits on solid backing and gets pressure tested before a single sheet of drywall goes on, because a joint that weeps is a small problem while you can still see it and an expensive one once it is behind tile. The ADA stall in each bathroom is set out at rough-in rather than adapted afterwards. The overhead supply feeding these showers is on our water heater and hot water page, and the below-slab drainage for the same building is on our underground drainage page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a shower or bathtub installation take?
The plumbing itself usually splits into two visits: rough-in while the walls are open, then the finish work once tile and surfaces are done. Each stage is typically a day or less, but the overall timeline depends on the rest of your renovation schedule.
Can you convert my bathtub into a walk-in shower?
Yes. Tub-to-shower conversions are common, and the plumbing side involves relocating the drain and adjusting the supply lines. We will tell you early if your floor structure or drain position makes the conversion more involved than expected.
Do you install accessibility upgrades?
Yes. We install curbless and low-threshold showers, grab bar blocking, handheld fixtures and other accessibility work, and we plan the layout with the end user in mind rather than just to code minimums. On commercial work that includes ADA shower stalls set out at rough-in, like the Calgary shower rooms shown above.
Will the new shower have good water pressure?
Pressure depends on your supply line size, the fixture you choose and the condition of the existing pipe. We check all three before installing, and if the existing supply cannot support a multi-head or rain system we will say so before you buy it.
Do you work with my tile setter and contractor?
Yes. We coordinate rough-in and finish stages with tile setters, contractors and designers so the trades are not waiting on each other.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Calgary and the surrounding communities of Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere and Okotoks. If you are just outside those boundaries, call us and we will tell you honestly whether we can get to you.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. PeakFlow Plumbing and Heating is fully licensed and carries comprehensive liability insurance, and all of our work meets Alberta building and safety codes. We are happy to confirm our credentials before you book.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday to Friday from 7AM to 5PM and Saturday from 8AM to 4PM. We are closed Sunday. Leave a message outside those hours and we will get back to you on the next business day.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. We provide free quotes on most plumbing and heating projects. Call (825) 773-1297 or send us the details through the form on this page and we will give you an upfront price before any work starts.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, cheque, e-transfer and major credit cards. Payment terms are agreed upfront before work begins, so there are no surprises at the end of the job.
